Extra Crispy and CookOut NYC™ Bringing BreakFestival to Manhattan Waterfront Labor Day Weekend

It’s time for NYC to own its passion for breakfast! The producers of CookOut NYC are teaming with Extra Crispy in celebration of everyone’s favorite meal with four different sessions taking place Saturday, September 3rd, and Sunday, September 4th (Labor Day weekend), on the East River waterfront (enter at 23rd Street). The BreakFestival will bring breakfast-lovers from all walks of life over to the Manhattan waterfront for two full days of breakfast-centric events featuring all-star chefs, influencers, and live music by Hudson Horns. Twenty-plus chefs (in rotation; 10 chefs per session) will showcase their best breakfast bites and drinks all day long and into the night, paying homage to breakfast and brunch essentials with themed booths, tournaments, and tastings ranging from creative French toast, the best bacons and bespoke cocktails. And did we mention breakfast beer? There will be a lot of breakfast beer.

Each session includes:

  • 10+ food stations, including French toast, bagels & bialys, breakfast meats, biscuits and other creative chefs’ dishes (each session features different chefs TBD)
  • A “Breakfast Around the World” station curated by writer Joe DiStefano
  • Live entertainment (DJ or band)
  • A different food-competition each session, including eating contests and culminating in the Breakfast King and Queen (entry form here)
  • Coffee, craft beer (from Sixpoint, others), cider (from Virtue, others) and breakfast cocktails served up by guest mixologists, including Drambuie Chameleon Coffee collaboration cocktails and Murph's Bloody Marys
  • All-inclusive food and drink
